Opened in 1985, the iconic Circuito de Jerez holds many fantastic memories, hosting it’s first GP more than three decades ago.
That opening 500cc race was won by Wayne Gardner, who would taste victory again three years later at the 1990 Spanish GP, before compatriot Mick Doohan took two consecutive wins in ’91 and ’92.
More recently, Bridgestone used the circuit to launch their Motorrad test winning Battlax S22, which now must be recognised as the market leading hypersport tyre, which also offers serious on track capabilities.
