As an official sponsor of the superb Oliver’s Mount Circuit in Scarborough, the team at Michelin Tyres have been sharing some video highlights from the recent Cock O’ The North annual road races.
The deal between Michelin and the circuit comes at a time when the French tyre manufacturer is keen to push it’s latest sports bike hoops and race rubber, no doubt driven by their association with MotoGP as sole tyre supplier to the premier class.
Taking place over the final weekend of June, the Cock O’ The North is the second event on the calendar at Oliver’s Mount, followed by the Barry Sheene Festival later this month and the Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup finale in September.
As always the race weekend was well attended, drawing huge crowds to North Yorkshire from across the UK who were prepared to enjoy an exciting schedule of racing come rain or shine, with several big names in action including TT winner Dean Harrison.
