The 73rd EICMA International Motorcycle Show in Milan promises to be an exciting one for Bridgestone, as the company shows off new flagship motorcycle tyres from 19 to 22 November, with a 178m² stand.
The company will display new products, innovations and the wide range of Battlax tyres for all types of riders and motorcycles and there will be world premières for two new tyres; the Battlax Hypersport S21, fitted on the stunning new 1-litre Yamaha R1, and the Battlax Racing W01, Bridgestone’s new wet racing tyre.
On other world première on that stand will be the first all-electric Saroléa Manx 7 superbike homologated for the road, fitted with its Battlax RS10 racing street sport radials. This Manx 7 street bike is directly derived from Saroléa SP7 which may fans saw on the Isle of Ma in the TT Zero races of 2014 and 2015. Bridgestone provides technical support and tyre expertise to Belgian firm Saroléa in a joint commitment to sustainable mobility – and this homologation is a big step forward in the journey towards zero-emission motorcycling.
Other new products on display include expanded ranges including the following:
- Battlax T30 EVO – due to be available in a much wider range of sizes from 2016, this wet test winner redefines performance in the sport touring segment.
- Battlax Adventure A40 – Another wet test winner, leading the way in road-oriented adventure tyres!
- Battlax SC – This premium quality scooter tyre is undergoing a 3 year expansion, to match the growth in the European scooter market
Finally, Bridgestone’s stand in Milan includes the recently-launched Battlecross X20, X30 and X40 – as recently showcased by Cambrian Tyres at the International Dirt Bike Show.
