Last weekend supercross mania took over the French capital city, as the annual Paris SX took place at the La Defense Arena.
After three high intensity races, American rider Jace Owen of Kawasaki Bud Racing, supported by Michelin, came away with the ‘Prince of Paris’ crown.
Riding on Michelin’s acclaimed Starcross 5 tyres, Owen was in the early lead trio for the opening race, and eventually took the front spot as challengers Brian Moreau and Cameron McAdoo dropped back.
McAdoo made up for his mistakes in Race One by grabbing a win in the second contest, but Owen maintained his overall lead by finishing close behind him.
Owen got the best possible start in the final race of the night, and despite the best efforts of McAdoo and Adrien Escoffier, no one was able to catch him, and he came away with the overall victory in the SX2 class.

Michelin’s Starcross 5 range was launched in 2016, and has proved to be extremely popular both here in the UK and abroad. A range of new designs and technologies have re-defined operating range of most tyres compared with it’s predecessors, making it much easier for riders to select the right tyre ahead of any race.
The whole range, along with Michelin’s quality tubes and Bib Mousse, are all available to the UK trade from Cambrian Tyres.
