Harrison & Aylott Claim TT Sidecar Victory

Avon Sidecar Tyres TT Isle of ManIt was a clean sweep of the podium for podium for British based manufacturer Avon tyres on Saturday as the sidecars took to the famous Isle of Man TT course.

Over the course of the race, spectators were treated to some thrilling action as four different teams battled it out for the lead before Conrad Harrison and Mike Aylott crossed the line to claim their very first TT victory. Second place went to the team of John Holden and Andy Winkle whilst Tim Reeves and Gregory Cluze came in third.

Avon have also been supporting three teams in the solo rider race classes and all three lined up for the Superbike race on Saturday with dry roads and temperatures just above 20 degrees Celsius to greet them. Unfortunately both Ryan Kneen and Dave Moffitt had to retire during the race due to fuel problems, but Mark Parrett had a superb race on the Avon 3D Ultra Xtreme hypersport tyre with an average speed of 119mph to see him finish 28th overall.
