Kawasaki KX 250 mounted Andy Gillet put in a superb performance on the extremely varied 5 mile circuit in South Wales, which featured plenty of open wooded areas, fast flowing fields, and steep, twisty climbs and descents.
After ten minutes had passed and the first lap was complete, Andy was 30 seconds or so behind the leader, with the rest of the expert pack on his tail. As the day progressed, and pit stops came into play, along with one rider suffering from a nasty case of arm pump, the lead pack swapped positions time and time again.
After two and a half hours, Andy was at the head of the pack, and crossed the line in first position to take the expert class win. Following the win, our customer said that Andy “loved the tyres” and his win goes to show just how good a tyre the Gritty is.
