The date for the next Hawkstone International has now been revealed as 3rd February, and once again Bridgestone will be a key sponsor of this fantastic event.
Hawkstone attracts some of the biggest names in the sport year-upon-year, and this will mark the second successive year with Bridgestone acting as one of the title sponsors.
This year both the crowds and the weather were exceptional, as was the racing across all classes.
Entries for the MX1 and MX2 classes are expected to open shortly, while the MXY2 class has once again been announced as the support series.
As well as being an opportunity to see some great racing, it also gives Bridgestone a chance to showcase their popular Battlecross range, which as of next year will also include the E50 enduro tyre, which uses adapted tech from the current motocross line-up.

A representative for Bridgestone commented:
“After such a superb event last year, with so many top riders and massive coverage, we feel it makes perfect sense to sponsor the Hawkstone International event again in 2019!
The enormous turnout of spectators and together with all the top teams preparing for their long seasons ahead, make the now traditional season opener in the UK a must on anyone’s calendar.
We are proud to be working with such a great organisation, who never fail to deliver a professional and exciting event at one of the most famous motocross venues in the world!
We will be showcasing our Battlecross Motocross tyre range, plus giving away a few freebies! We will also unveil our new E50 Enduro tyre that is certain to excite the Enduro riders that attend the event
We look forward to a great turnout again, and look forward to seeing everyone at Hawkstone.”
Gary Ford – Event Secretary went on to state:
“Once again we are really looking forward to the event in 2019, we are hoping to draw some world class riders to the event and have a good shake down before the GPs kick off.
We are really pleased that Be Wiser Insurance and Bridgestone have once again committed to the Hawkstone International as title sponsors and it will be great to work with them again.”
