Best off-road tyres Tenere 700

Yamaha’s much anticipated Tenere 700 is undoubtedly one of the best middleweight bikes on the market right now, but with so many boxes for the modern ADV machine to tick there’s always scope for improvement!

Riders have high expectations of the latest crop of adventure motorcycles, which need to be able to cope with everything from a day in the dirt to a 2-up, fully loaded all-tarmac European tour.

That means there’s a whole host of companies out there offering ways for you to fine tune the bike to your needs, including the folks at K-Tech Suspension.

They have now released a kit for the latest T700, and invited experienced bike journalist Adam Child to test their kitted out model back-to-back with the standard machine.

Adam was joined by Dakar legend Mick Extance for the test, which took place on the roads and trails of beautiful Mid Wales.

As well as the K-Tech kit, the modified bike also featured a set of the latest Bridgestone Battlax AX41 on / off-road adventure tyres.

Bridgestone’s rugged looking AX41 adventure tyres make for a seriously versatile set of hoops.

Just as is the case with their bikes, adventure riders also demand a lot from their rubber, and we think that Bridgestone have delivered with this product.

The unique block design and layout delivers excellent on and off-road performance while also combating the irregular stepped wear often associated with trail capable tyres.

Optimal block and compound rigidity also good on-road stability for increased rider confidence on the tarmac.

A wide range of sizes covers modern and classic ADV bikes from 50cc to 1300cc too!
