Earlier this year we announced an exclusive event from the team at Bridgestone UK, which aims to position them as the number one choice in the UK motocross market.
The MX Experience Day at Apex in Worcestershire on February 19th will give riders a chance to try the critically acclaimed range of Battlecross X30 and X40 tyres, launched earlier this year.
There was much speculation as to who the secret special guest at the event would be, and Bridgestone are delighted to confirm that it will be UK legend and former MX of Nations winner Paul Malin, who will be there alongside 7 time Dakar Rally competitor Mick Extance.
Bridgestone’s training development manager Mark Fereday said: “It is a real coup for us to have Paul Malin with us for our day of riding in February.
“Paul is one of the UK’s most talented and decorated riders and to have him testing out our tyres and offering his expert feedback will be invaluable.”
Also available on the day will be Amy Dargan and Suzy Taylor, of Motors TV and Bike Channel respectively, and they will be around to sign autographs and pose for pictures, whilst adding their familiar voices to proceedings.
On the day there will be two Kawasaki KX250Fs and a pair of KX450s which riders can use to test the tyres. They can also continue test the battlecross range on their own bikes for the remainder of the day, at a cost of £33.
