First unveiled at the International Six Days Enduro in France, Michelin’s replacement for their highly respected Comp range has been in development for a total of four years.
The new range, simply called ‘Enduro‘, uses a more versatile compound which offers superb performance across a far wider range of terrain types making tyre choice a much simpler affair moving forwards.
That versatility hasn’t come at the expense of durability either – with Michelin claiming a 15% improvement in tyre life over original Enduro Comp. As the tyre wears, it will also deliver more consistent performance that it’s predecessor.
The tread pattern has also been updated as can be seen above, with a modified ‘Hard’ front option in a 90/90-21 for the very toughest of terrain types.
Michelin have also worked hard to improve the new tyres ability to clear obstacles, and compatibility with their Bib Mousse has also boosted.
The new Enduro range is already in stock at Cambrian in all ‘Medium’ options with the ‘Hard’ due to arrive soon, although limited stocks of the Enduro Comp are also available for those not yet ready to make the switch.
