Michelin have just announced the release of it’s latest incarnation of the popular Pilot Road series, the Pilot Road 4.
The Pilot Road 4 will be available in three different versions from January 2014:
- Sport Touring
- Trail
- GT
Intended for road use only, the new Pilot Road 4 will cover the majority of road motorcycles above 600cc and have been designed to deliver maximum levels of safety and reduced braking distances when riding in the wet.
The tyre was also become the OE fitment for the new BMW R 1200 RT, which will be fitted with the Pilot Road 4 GT,
Michelin sees the new tyre as a perfect illustration of their Total Performance strategy, striving to constantly improve tyre performance characteristics across the board. With that in mind, the new Pilot Road 4 also promises to deliver increased mileage.
