In last month’s edition of Bike Magazine, after a bit of a front-end moment on their long term Suzuki GSX-S1000 during a trip to Germany, the team made the decision to switch the OE tyres and were giving their first impressions of the Sportec M7 RR from Metzeler.
In the latest December 2015 edition, after covering some more mileage on the German firm’s latest hypersport rubber, they have been updating readers on how the tyres have performed:
“These are a sportier tyre, giving the Suzuki a little more desire to change direction and more dry grip than you ever need on the road. Work in the wet too. The payoff is a slightly firmer ride and, on the very odd occasion, a slight sense of movement from the bars when accelerating hard in low gears over bumps.”
