Everyone loves a race replica, and we’re even more excited about the Honda new CRF450R Roczen special edition for 2020 as it’s coming to the UK on our Bridgestone Battlecross range!
In the UK, Honda’s official Buildbase squad are all too familiar with the Bridgestone range, which has helped rising star Josh Gilbert claim back-to-back MX Nationals MX2 Pro titles, and the British Masters MX2 title in 2018.
The latest mighty Honda now includes the Japanese bike maker’s Selectable Torque Control, which works in conjunction with their optimised HRC Launch Control mapping. Suspension features have also been revised, and the rear brakes updated. A Yoshimura exhaust, custom graphics and seat cover help to complete the custom Roczen package.
However, in Honda’s photo, both machines can be seen sporting a set of the acclaimed Battlecross X20 tyres, which were a firm favourite of Buildbase rider Josh Gilbert over the past two seasons.
In terms of versatility, the Battlecross X20 is hard to beat, and it gives consistent performance across a wide range of soft to intermediate terrain. The proprietary tread-block design delivers outstanding acceleration and braking response, with Castle Block Technology on the rear tyre delivering dependable grip over changing surface types.
Tie bars between the tread blocks also enhance the strength of the tyre, and it’s resistance to tearing, while optimal tread block spacing enhances the tyres’ self clearing properties.
In the UK, Cambrian Tyres are the official trade distributor for the Bridgestone motocross range, which covers both adult and junior sizes.
