It has been a fascinating season in MotoGP this year, and crowds have flocked to every single one of the amazing 18 rounds around the world, as Marc Marquez romped home to the title.

- 9 New Qualifying Lap Records
- Record 2,473,624 Spectators
- Approximately 1000 Tyres Per Race
- 23 Slick and Wet Tyre Specifications Used
- Highest Track Temperature of 58 Degrees Celsius in Malaysia
- Lowest Track Temperature of 15 Degrees Celsius in Valencia
With riders running across a huge range of temperatures and conditions, Bridgestone have collected masses of vital data and statistics which will serve to further develop their premium Battlax road and track tyres available to end users in the near future too. Their latest MotoGP derived slick, available to riders of all levels, was 0.4 seconds faster than it’s nearest rival in a recent magazine test, so the benefits are clear for all to see!
The 2015 crop of MotoGP tyres are also already under development, offering unparalleled amounts of grip, consistency and safety for next season, so expect more records to fall!
