Last week we reported on how 19-yeard old Mike Schram, supported by Avon Tyres, had entered the record books with his amazing around the world ride on his XT660R.
Midway through the trip his sponsor Avon launched the new TrailRider, which Mike duly tested for the remainder of his ride before arriving back home in Australia. Marketed as a 90/10 tyre in favour of use on the road, you can see that Mike still used it on a wide variety of terrain with great success, demonstrating it’s ability to cope with various surfaces.
