Alba Takes South West Premier Win

DSC Cornwall Kawasaki

After a long time off the bike, DSC Cornwall Kawasaki’s Tommy Alba was back on form at the South West Premier series at Whiteway Barton over the weekend.

Tommy only returned on the #681 machine in early May after a long time out due to injury, but has been working hard to get race fit once again with the support of teammates Sunny Thompson and Jack Stevens, all backed by Bridgestone and their latest line of Battlecross tyres.

With a podium at the British Masters in early June at Landrake Parc, Tommy went even better this weekend taking the first win since his return to the Expert class to the delight of Team Manager Alasdair Dennis at the Devon track.

Meanwhile Jack returned to Landrake Parc for the 3rd round of the West Coast MXC Super Series, taking a well earned 2nd place overall as the sun shone down on Cornwall.

Sunny Thompson had a bit of extra travelling to do in order to get to his race, attending the British Championships at Blaxhall Pits in Suffolk, coming away with further valuable points at the end of round six.
