With the introduction of the acclaimed Battlecross range in back in 2014, and the expansion of the range to include the new X20 this year, Bridgestone are a growing force once again in the motocross world.
Last year, the world’s largest tyre manufacturer became title sponsor to the BSMA Clubman Series, and following a successful first year working in partnership with the race series, they have announced a 1 year extension to that deal.
With a history dating back to 1969, the British Schoolboy Motocross Association is a federation of clubs which runs both local and national events, supporting the likes of The International, The Best of British, The Auto Championship and the Girls National. A number of well known riders have come through their ranks, including MotoGP star Bradley Smith.
Working with the BSMA this year Bridgestone have already scouted some fantastic talent, including young Silje Otte, who romped to victory at the Girls National on Battlecross tyres taking 4 wins out of 5.
