It’s time for the world’s fastest road race, as the Metzeler Ulster Grand Prix takes place at the famous 7.4 mile Dundrod circuit in Northern Ireland.
This year the German road race brand look to continue their success at the event, of which they are title sponsors, with a star studded line-up of riders who thrive between the hedges.
Ian Hutchinson, on the back of his amazing TT return, will lead the charge for Metzeler, with Guy Martin, William Dunlop and Dean Harrison also using the brand.
Hutchy will be riding the PBM Kawasaki ZX10-R in both Superbike and Superstock, and also using Keith Flint’s TTC YZF-R6. Martin & William Dunlop will both be competing on their TYCO BMW’s, and Dean Harrison is representing Mar-Train Yamaha. Ivan Lintin and James Cowton will also be running Metzeler in the Supertwins.
All Metzeler riders will be using the treaded Racetec RR in the Supersport, Superstock and Supertwin classes, and the Racetec Slick in the blue riband Superbike race.
