Earlier this month, Maxxis Tyres announced that they would be extending their support of the famous Team Green concept into the 2015 season, allowing the Kawasaki squad to increase in size to a total of four riders.
Team Green have already confirmed that they will continue to work with the big wheel partnership of Jed Etchells and Dylan Woodcock, who recently competed in the Monster Cup. As such they have turned their attentions to the remaining youth categories.
Concentrating on the 85cc small wheel class for 2015, the team are welcoming Ruthin based Joel Rizzi to the fold. The 11 year old rider already has a a number of national level wins under his belt, and is ddefinitelyone to watch in the coming months and years.
Joining Joel will be Lewis Hall, and together the duo of rider partnerships will be competing in the UK Arenacross Championship, plus the British Youth Nationals and other events yet to be confirmed. Maxxis will be working closely with the team in order to further tyre development and increase their brand exposure for 2015.

Elsewhere in the Maxxis British Championship, the sponsored LPE team based in Lincolnshire have signed one of Europe’s premier riders in the form of Tanel Leok.
The highly regarded Estonian rider will be on the Kawasaki KX450F, fitted with Maxxcross tyres in the MX1 class, looking to pick up where he left off in 2012. His partner at the team will be former Team Green youth rider Jamie Law, who is also making the switch to the LPE team.
LPE have also made some exciting Arenacross announcements, with Fabien Izoird and Loic Rombaut both confirming they will ride for the team as of January 2015. Jimmy Margetson will also compete in the Rookie class. The team will be going into next year’s series as firm favourites, with Izoird taking the 2014 title, and LPE taking the team title on their Maxxis shod machines.
