In September 2011 Tim Rothig mounted his gyrocam to his Kawasaki ZX-10R, fitted with Bridgestone Battlax R10 Racing tyres, to give bikers an amazing on board view as he lapped the 20.832km long circuit at the Nürburgring in an amazing 7 minutes and 50 seconds.

When the video was played at an NEC event shortly after it had been released, riders across the hall stopped and stared and the sheer speed, as well as Tim’s fantastic riding skills. If you watch it, you’ll see why.
