Two Podiums For Michelin At Opening British Sprint Enduro

British Sprint Enduro Canada Heights 2014The British Sprint Enduro Championship got off to an exciting start at Canada Heights last weekend, with Michelin rider Pela Renet stealing the show securing two Michelin Comp VI Elite class wins in hard fought battles with Danny McCanney from the Isle of Man.

Conditions were almost perfect at the Canada Heights venue, which uses a spectacular sandy motocross track, surrounding woodland and flowing grass fields for some fantastic fast paced racing.

Renet was using the event as final preparations for his assault on the Enduro 2 World Championship, and in round one he secured a 13 second margin of victory before repeating the feat in round two.

Third place on the podium was taken by Michelin rider Tom Sagar, who finished at the head of a pack of four riders after some intense battles for the final podium spot.

The Enduro21.com ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship, powered by Husqvarna Motorcycles continues with rounds three and four in Saints Well, Wales on April 26/27.
