After enjoying a successful weekend with the annual Armoy Road Races in 2017, French tyre giant Michelin are to continue their support for the famous meeting which takes place this coming weekend.
Michelin will continue to sponsor the Senior Support Race 2, which was won by Adam Lyon at last year’s event with Joseph Loughlin and David Howard also on the podium.
The Clermont brand are keen to use the event to highlight the performance of their latest treaded and slick race tyres, with some upcoming names including Davey Todd using the likes of the Power Cup Evo to great effect ‘between the hedges’.
Supermoto ace Todd was recently named ‘Star of Tomorrow’ following his stunning debut at the Isle of Man TT.
This weekend we’ll be lucky enough to experience Armoy for ourselves courtesy of Michelin, seeing some of their riders in action and hopefully getting the chance to speak to some of them to get their opinions on the rubber first hand.
