Magazine reviews are great, but in the age of social media, peer-to-peer reviews are potentially an even more powerful tool as manufacturers look to advertise their product to the increasingly savvy rider.
Last month, after covering a total of 6,000 miles (so far) on his Metzeler Roadtec 01 sport touring tyres, Mark at popular online vlog RiderCamTV updated his followers on how the tyres have performed to date.
The Roadtec 01 is Metzeler’s flagship sport touring tyre, building on their popular Z8 Interact to offer superb levels of wet and dry grip for all-weather riding – an ideal choice for a summer tour.
The range includes sizes for road-going adventure bikes, like Mark’s R1200GS, as well as a ‘HWM’ version which is designed for use on heavy touring bikes like the FJR1300.
