In a bid to connect with the growing online rider community, Avon have enlisted the help of prominent Youtube vlogger The Missenden Flyer to put their all-new Spirit ST through a real world test.
Avon’s new Spirit ST is their latest top-of-the-line sport touring tyre and is said to offer excellent performance on dry and wet roads, as well as good durability.
With a tread pattern resembling that of a race wet, and utilising Avon’s proven 3D Sipe Technology, the Spirit ST evacuates water more efficiently from around the contact patch than it’s predecessor the Storm 3D X-M. The unique pattern design ensures this happens at all angles of lean to increase rider confidence when cornering in the wet.
The Missenden Flyer had a pair of Avon’s latest tyres fitted to his BMW R1200 GS, and after covering approximately 2,000 miles he’s been giving his subscribers an update on how they’ve performed so far.
