As if proof was needed that Dougie Lampkin is the King of the Scottish Six Days then his record breaking 11th win at the event, secured earlier this week, makes it 100% official.
Lampkin, riding on Michelin trials tyres, once again produced a flawless performance as he stormed to the win under blue Scottish skies.
Back in 2008, Dougie took his first win working in conjunction with Michelin, and he has taken their Trials Comp tyres to the top step of the podium on many occasions at various events since then.
There was also a double podium for the Michelin shod Team JST Gas Gas UK, winning the ‘Manufacturers Team Award’ as Jack Price took 2nd place with teammate Michael Brown just behind him in 3rd.
