For the first time ever, this year Bridgestone provided the official tyre support service for the trans-European Gibraltar Race, which recently came to a close in northern Spain.
Riders covered several thousand miles, mainly off-road, as they raced south from the Polish city of Gdansk to Spain’s Atlantic coast.
With two brand new off-road capable tyres on the market this year, it was the ideal event to showcase the performance of Bridgestone’s new range:
- Battlecross E50 – Enduro
- Battlax Adventurecross AX41 – On/Off-Road ADV

Sadly the race came to an early close for Bridgestone supported rider Gigi Canepa who found himself in hospital after an unfortunate mistake in the initial stages, but that’s all part and parcel of enduro racing!
