VIDEO: Dunlop Relive MXGP 2017 Season

Dunlop MXGP 2017 season review

It’s been a fantastic year for Dunlop in MXGP.

The tyre maker celebrated a last gasp title win alongside Kiara Fontanesi in the women’s championship, plus a number of victories in the premier men’s class throughout the season.

Fontanesi left it until the final Moto to claim her 5th title, which was the Italian rider’s 4th on Dunlop tyres.

Their popular range of Geomax tyres have helped a number of top riders compete at the sharp end of the championship this season, including the Belgian stalwart Clement Desalle.

Next year Dunlop’s line-up will be further bolstered by the arrival of the new Geomax MX-12, which will offer increased performance in muddy and sandy conditions when compared with the outgoing MX-11.

By far the most popular option this season among Dunlop riders has been the Geomax MX-3S for soft to medium terrain.

In a recent video release, Dunlop have been reliving some of their highlights from the 2017 season alongside technical partner Kawasaki Racing Team:
