Icon 1000’s ‘Colonel Butterscotch’ is living proof that even a functional lump like Suzuki’s 1200 Bandit can be turned into an absolute work of art.

In truth this well-loved Bandit base bike has been much improved with the addition of parts from a whole host of other donor bikes.

There’s an aluminium swing arm from a ZRX1200, 16″ front and 17″ rear wheels from a VF1000R, and 45mm Daytona forks for starters.

When it comes to tyres the Portland, Oregon based outfit went British, opting to fit Avon’s very popular Roadrider cross-ply.

Currently available in more than 30 sizes, the Roadrider is one of the biggest selling tyres of it’s type in the UK, and with good reason too.
