VIDEO: Buildbase Honda MX Nationals Highlights

Steve Clarke MX Nationals Straight Rhythm

Despite all the challenges they have faced this year, the organisers of the MX Nationals motocross series have managed to put together a championship for 2020 – and they’ve seen some fantastic racing in all classes.

Kicking off at Hawkstone earlier in the summer, the MX1 Pro class looked like it was going to be an epic duel between teammates Jake Nicholls and Tommy Searle as Jake took the early initiative at Hawkstone, but Tommy worked hard to grab the red plate after round two.

Last weekend the MX Nationals paddock headed for Cusses Gorse in Wiltshire for the penultimate round of the series. Despite a strong challenge from the rest of the field, Tommy managed to retain the red MX1 Pro plate ahead of the season finale in October.

Unfortunately Jake had a nasty off, and found himself racing through the pain of a dead leg and bent thumb in an effort to take home some points in the second moto, while MX2 teammate Steven Clarke claimed the Straight Rhythm win with a very impressive display on the Saturday night.

The Bridgestone supported Buildbase Honda team have just released video highlights and rider interviews from round 3 which you can check out below:
