It’s been a great February for Gloucester based Jack Timms, who has been flying high in the annual Arenacross championships in the UK.
The series finale took place this weekend at the SSE Wembley Arena, and despite some on-track issues we’re delighted to report that Jack came away as the 2020 ProAm Champion on Bridgestone Battlecross tyres.
Jack is no stranger to the Bridgestone brand, having been involved with the Japanese tyre maker for several season both racing solo and as part of the JSR Honda setup.

Bridgestone Battlecross Tyres
The increasingly popular Bridgestone Battlecross range is responsible for multiple championship wins at nationals level in the UK!
As of 2020, they are the official tyre of top teams including Buildbase Honda, Geartec Racing, BRT KTM and Crescent Yamaha.
Solely distributed to the UK motorcycle trade by Cambrian Tyres.
Jack was in prime position to take the title as they series headed to the capital, but it’s never over until you cross that finish line!
He finished in second place in the day race, and was running second in the main race until another rider wiped out several of the field coming into the final turn.
Determined to finish whatever happened, Jack picked up his bike (which now had a broken clutch) and pushed it across the line to finish in 10th position, which was just enough to help him claim the title.
We’d like to congratulate Jack on his victory, and we can’t wait to see what he can do for the rest of the season!
