With a 2,500cc power plant at it’s very heart, Triumph’s ultra-limited edition Rocket 3 TFC boasts the world’s largest production motorcycle engine to date.
Part of the Hinckley brand’s new Factory Custom series, only 750 units will be produced, all using up-spec technology and the latest premium equipment to make a very special bike.
There’s an all-aluminium frame which has helped to shed a significant amount of weight, plus Showa suspension, Brembo brakes full colour TFT dash, four riding modes, cruise control, TPMS, and many more premium features.
The wide 240-section rear tyre has 168bhp to deal with from the big triple, equivalent to a 13% increase over the first generation Rocket III.
To help make the most of that additional power, Triumph have opted to fit the brand new Cobra Chrome cruiser tyre from Avon, which just like the Rocket 3 TFC was only brought out this year.
Compared with the original and extremely popular Avon Cobra, the new Cobra Chrome offers improved handling for big custom and cruiser motorcycles, along with increased grip levels on wet roads.
The new snake skin style detailing on the edge of the tread also enhances the aesthetic appeal of the tyre, and adds another nice little touch to Triumph’s latest build.
