Just a couple of days ago, Italian manufacturer Pirelli announced that they are to be the 2015 title sponsor of the Off-Road British Masters Series.
Organised by Off-Road Motorsport UK, the Pirelli British Masters Series will run over the course of six rounds at some of the UK’s top motocross circuits including Foxhills and Hawkstone Park.
Pirelli are paying particular attention to the Youth classes, offering tyre prizes, and expert tuition from Matt Winstanley. The two 85 classes are also to be known as the Pirelli Young Guns moving forward.
Pirelli British Masters Series classes will consist of Small Wheel 85cc, Big Wheel 85cc, MXY2 Youth, Clubman Open, Amateur MX1, Amateur MX2, a 2-Stroke Class (Scored Separately), Pro MX1 and Pro MX2. Registration for the series has now opened and application forms will be available at the Dirt Bike Show, Stoneleigh at the end of October.
The schedule for the 2015 series is as follows:
- Round 1 – 28th & 29th March – Mepal
- Round 2 – 25th & 26th April – Foxhills
- Round 3 – 20th & 21st June – Whitby (TBC)
- Round 4 – 4th & 5th July – Preston Docks
- Round 5 – 1st & 2nd August – TBC
- Round 6 – 12th & 13th September – Hawkstone Park
