Brand new for 2014, the Dunlop D407 T will be the original equipment fitment for all 2014 Harley-Davidson touring models featuring black sidewall tyres the tyre manufacturer has announced.
The new rear fitment was designed with co-operation from Harley-Davidson and features a number of Dunlop technologies including their MT Multi-Tread system which combines a durable centre compound for mileage with softer shoulder compounds for grip in the corners.
The T version of the D407 has been tuned by Dunlop to deliver improved mileage performance, and optimised handling in line with the requirements of specific Harley-Davidson models. The bold lateral groove pattern also delivers strong performance in wet weather conditions, channelling water away from the contact patch.
The tyre will fit touring models manufactured from 2009 onwards, and will be the original equipment rear on the following bikes in 2014:
- Road King Classic
- Street Glide
- Electra Glide Ultra Classic
- Ultra Limited
