At the recent Natterjack Enduro in Hampshire, Dan Mundell clinched the British Championship Clubman title with the help of his Michelin tyres.
The JD Racing KTM 250 EXC rider, who runs Michelin Enduro Comp VI front and Enduro Comp III rear, excelled in what is considered to be one of the toughest rounds of the season, run on Longmoor Ranges by the British Army REME team.
Following his title clinching performance at Natterjack, an ecstatic Dan said:
“Tyre choice is so important at this event due to the constantly changing terrain, the MX ‘special test’ is deep sand like a beach race, whilst in the forest you have mud and slippery tree roots. On the advice of Tom Sagar and Daryl Bolter we chose Michelin Enduro Competition VI front and Michelin Enduro Competition III rear, with Bibmousse in both and it was a fantastic combination.
I am very pleased with how my season has gone, and I am now looking forward to stepping up to the expert class next year.”
