Earlier this week across the pond, two US riders set out on an 11,000 mile adventure to the Arctic Circle in aid of the charity Rider Resources.
The non-profit motorcycle safety organisation are currently on the road promoting safe riding practices, and raising money to help fund a veteran support scheme called the Motorcycle Relief Project.
Motorcycle Relief Project work with army veterans who suffer from conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, bringing them together to form long-lasting friendships and bonds whilst on a week long 2-wheel adventure in the states of Colorado and Arizona.
Several thousand dollars has already been raised to help fund the veterans project, although the pair have set an ambitious target of $45,000 in total.
With support from Michelin, Mark and Eddie have fitted the French firm’s Anakee 2 and Anakee 3 adventure tyres to their respective bikes, and will certainly be giving them a proper workout on the challenging Dalton Highway.
