The Metzeler Racetec Rain is a Race Rain tyre offering riders:
- Fast and evenly distributed warm up and higher levels of grip thanks to the use of low thermo plasticity compounds
- Compact tread pattern reduces tearing and controls the distribution of land/sea ratio for a feeling of control at every lean angle
- Tuned steel cord winding tension provides a consistent profile, maximising the size of the contact patch at every lean angle
This tyre was discontinued at the end of 2018. It has now been replaced by the Racetec RR Intermediate and Racetec RR Rain.
