Taking over from the former CompK, Metzeler state that the new TD Slick can be used without tyre warmers, and doesn’t require any specific setup of the bike to perform at its best.
Available in one front and a number of popular rear tyre sizes, the Racetec TD is ideal for riders who are looking for the additional benefits of a slick product without needing to put in the extra setup time and invest in additional equipment like generators and tyre warmers.

- A newly developed, fast warming compound which negates the use of tyre warmers thanks to the polymers unique polymer blend. This means the tyre is suitable for use at low operating temperatures, with an improved resistance to cold tearing
- Longer tyre life thanks to the evolution of resins resistant to high temperatures, along with a patented mixing process which gives the tyre a uniform behaviour both on a thermal and mechanical level. This provides a high resistance to thermal decay, and therefore keeps the chemical-physical properties of the tyre constant lap after lap, session after session for consistent lap times.
