Kenda Celebrates 60 Years Of Innovation

Cambrian Tyres are proud to be Kenda’s sole UK importer of motorcycle tyres. We’ve been importing Kenda for Three years, and we’ve seen the brand go from strength to strength. Kenda has very quickly become one of our best selling brands, especially in the off-road / motorsport segment, with the MX and Enduro range having become highly sought after.  Kenda are a proud supporter of a number of up and coming British Enduro riders. We’re proud to say we have Leoni Tighe defending her ladies British Sprint Enduro Champion title, and Adam Harris defending his ACERBIS Nationals Open 2Stroke Champion title on Kenda tyres. Week by week we are seeing many more talented riders use Kenda, and constantly seeing Kenda podium wins. Riders are constantly singing the brand’s praises which is always fantastic to hear!

Kenda, one of the world’s leading tyre manufacturers, recently commemorated its 60th Anniversary with a celebration at its Kenda American Technology Centre (KATC) in Canton, Ohio hosted by Chairman and President of Kenda, Jimmy Yang.

Kenda was founded in the countryside of Yuanlin, Taiwan, by Mr. Chi-Pao Yang and under his guiding principles of honesty, quality, service and innovation. Core values that still today serve as guideposts. In the past six decades, the company has grown to encompass 4 Global Technology Centres and 23 Manufacturing and Assembly facilities with product offerings across all major tire segments including: automobiles, bicycles, wheelchairs, powersports, trailers, golf cars and lawn and garden equipment in addition to steel wheels and roofing products.
