With the Milan based EICMA trade show in full swing this week, bike manufacturers are taking the opportunity to unveil their latest machines to excited crowds from around the world.
As was the case at Intermot in Cologne earlier this year, the biggest bikes coming out at the show are all fitted with high quality, Japanese made Bridgestone tyres as original equipment.
First off was the highly anticipated Yamaha R1, which was unveiled by Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi. The 200bhp R1, and near race-ready R1M will both be using the new Battlax RS10 Racing Street tyre which was also launched very recently.
Also making use of the new Bridgestone Battlax RS10 is the Kawasaki Ninja H2 Street, the baby brother to the 300bhp Ninja H2R, which coincidentally also uses Bridgestone rubber. The super charged Ninja H2R, as reported following its unveiling at Intermot, will be using the Battlax V01 Racing Slick.
After unveiling the Bridgestone shod 2015 S1000RR in Cologne earlier this year, BMW have also been showing off the new S1000XR in Milan. The new XR, aimed at the likes of the Multistrada, will be using Battlax T30 sport touring tyres, as used by the Ron Haslam Race School on all their track bikes. High performance, without compromising on mileage.
