If you’re already a fan of Dunlop’s SportSmart 2, then they’ve just announced a tyre which promises to be even better.
Details surrounding the new SportSmart 2 Max are pretty thin on the ground right now, but we have been told it will be available by the time the season kicks in next year.
Dunlop say they have taken lessons learned both from the development of the RoadSmart III, and their participation in endurance racing which are both said to influence the design of their new hypersport rubber.
The SportSmart 2 was known to be one of the harder wearing hypersport tyres when it was launched just over three years ago, and we would expect them to have improved mileage yields once again.
This latest tyre promises high levels of performance on the roads, with the ability to take an occasional foray onto the track thrown in for good measure.
