Japanese manufacturer Honda have become the latest manufacturer to select the Dunlop Geomax MX-33 as an original equipment tyre for a model in their 2021. Honda and Dunlop have confirmed that the tyre will be fitted as standard on the next generation CRF450R, further highlight the versatility of the Geomax MX-33 which iscapable of performing on wide range of surfaces.
Honda have made razor sharp cornering performance a central part of their new CRF450R, which features new parts throughout. The cornering performance of the Geomax MX-33 will only seek to enhance this further.
The Geomax MX-33’s features a thinner and longer apex shape which enhances stability and feedback, and this has been coupled with an enhanced construction to improve shock absorption and more effectively control casing deformation. Dunlop’s Progressive Cornering Block Design helps riders to control slides and offers the benefit of additional grip too.
As with all the products in the latest Dunlop Geomax range, the MX-33’s performance has been proven at the highest levels of the sport. Every round of this year’s AMA Supercross Championship was won by Dunlop riders including Honda’s very own Ken Roczen, who took three victories on his CRF450R.
This latest OE deal comes off the back of the Geomax MX-33 being chosen by KTM and Husqvarna for their entire 2021 motocross ranges, making Dunlop the prime choice for three leading manufacturers’ top of the range MX machines.
