The relationship between Dunlop and Harley-Davidson stretches back nearly four decades, and last year the tyre maker celebrated supplying their 10 millionth tyre to the famous US marque.
New for 2018, Dunlop have added the D429 to their range of original equipment tyres complete with Harley-Davidson sidewall lettering.
The aggressive looking tread pattern has been designed to suit the re-styled latest Fat Bob and Fat Bob S from Harley, and both bikes will be fitted with the D429 in the factory.

Dmitri Talboom, Dunlop Motorcycle Europe product manager commented:
“The Fat Bob has a 1.8 litre engine producing muscular torque at low revs. This places very specific demands on a tyre, which is why the D429 features a computer-optimised tread profile to help durability and promote even wear.”
The new, scrambler-esque style D429 comes in just two sizes, a 150/80-16 front and 180/70 B16 rear, both of which are already available from Cambrian Tyres for our trade customers.
