The Cliffhanger Hill Climb is a 6.1km course in Gladstone, near Masterton in New Zealand.
Last year Jay Lawrence, the current course record holder, set out on his 2008 Kawasaki ZX-10R shod with a set of Bridgestone Battlax V01 Racing Slicks and smashed his previous course record by over 5 seconds setting a 2.04.596 time with an average speed of 176.25km/h. Thanks to the magic of the on-board camera, you can join him on this nail biting ride.
This year Bridgestone have also released the new, MotoGP derived Battlax V02 Racing Slick. It would be interesting to see just how much more time he could knock off running on those!
