Just over one week ago, Josh Gilbert was on top of the standings for Bridgestone & Honda Adventure Centre at the Michelin MX Nationals.
This weekend, as the series came to Hawkstone Park, it was the turn of teammate Callum Green to take a top spot for Bridgestone at their fellow tyre maker’s flagship domestic motocross championship.
Competing in the MXY2 class, riding star Callum went 2-1-1-1 in front of a packed Hawkstone crowd to secure the overall win on his Battlecross tyres.
Gilbert had a slightly more difficult weekend this time out, as he suffered a mechanical DNF in his opening moto, before coming from last to 5th in the second in a gutsy performance.
In the MX1 Expert class, Josh Waterman also crashed the party to take 1st place overall on Bridgestone Battlecross tyres.
Josh Gilbert will be in action at his first ever MXGP race next weekend, as the championship comes to Matterley Basin in the UK, and we wish him the best of luck.
Another great weekend of motocross for Team Bridgestone!
