Michelin sponsored Emma Bristow was recently in action at the popular Reeth 3 Day trial in North Yorkshire.
Competing as part of a 240 strong field, Emma and her fellow competitors enjoyed three days of riding at various locations around the area, which consists predominantly of open moorland.
On her Michelin shod MRS Sherco, Emma finished 20th out of 240 competitors, and took the Best Lady Rider Award for her efforts.
Following the final day of action at Reeth, Emma said “This is one event I have always enjoyed competing in over the last few years. The effort that the club and its band of helpers put into making it a success is a credit to all concerned”.
“I have ridden well over the three days of action and enjoyed the opportunity to ride in such a beautiful part of the country. The Scott trial in October is also one of my favourite events and this is a chance to ride on the same type of terrain”.
“To finish in 20th position out of the 240 competitors makes me very happy but if I am honest with my-self I do have my eyes on a top 10 finish which I do believe I can achieve. Once again I have won the Best Lady rider award to go with my long list of achievements”.
“The MRS Sherco proved its reliability and competition pedigree over the three days with the minimal of maintenance needed. I would like to thank all my sponsors and of course the club and all its officials for a fantastic three days of action.”
Emma competed on the Michelin Trial Comp range of trials tyres, which are all available to the UK trade from Cambrian Tyres. These tyres are also used by the likes of the dominant Toni Bou in the World Pro series.
