Despite the challenges posed by the on-going pandemic, the Gibraltar Race is back on the calendar for 2022 along with official tyre support provider Bridgestone.
This year’s edition of the event will run from 19th June to 2nd July, both starting and ending in the Czech Republic capital city of Prague.
The ‘PraRiRa’ edition will take riders through some incredible terrain in the Czech Republic, and will also cross Poland, Lithuania and Latvia with the city of Riga marking the halfway point.
As with previous events, the terrain promises to be varied and challenging, but thankfully Bridgestone have the tyres to suit with larger bikes relying on the AX41 adventure tyre, and smaller machines having the option of the E50 enduro tyre.
Bridgestone are also set to welcome a brand new option to their adventure tyre range next month, and although it might not be the best option for the challenging terrain of the Gibraltar Race, the AT41 could well be just the ticket for many ADV bike owners!
A tyre option which slots between the more road-oriented A41 and 50/50 AX41, the new AT41 delivers the fantastic on-road grip and stability riders have come to expect from Bridgestone, but with enough off-road performance in reserve for riders to start exploring some trails on their big ADV.
As well as providing dependable grip on dirt tracks and gravel roads, the tread pattern of the AT41 also optimises water clearance for fantastic performance on wet roads.
It’s a tyre which will allow you to start exploring more, without the compromises of fitting a blockier style adventure bike tyre.
