Unveiled recently in Cologne, the new Battlecross X10 sand tyre from Bridgestone completes their latest generation range of motocross tyres.
Designed as the replacement for the popular M101 front & M102 rear, the Battlecross X10 is expected to land in Europe as of April 2017 – and as the official UK distributor to the trade, we’ll keep you updated on availability via our Facebook page.
Bridgestone engineers have teamed up with a number of top motocross professional riders to design the new X10, which shows a marked improvement in traction in sandy conditions, with increased rear tyre grip and overall stability proving key to faster lap times.
All of the above has been achieved thanks to a new tread design featuring increased block deformation, which when combined offer stronger traction, increased sideslip control and improved self-cleaning abilities to give the rider a more consistent performance throughout a race.
Initial sizes will be as follows:
- 100/90-19 57M TT – Rear
- 110/90-19 62M TT – Rear
- 80/100-21 51M TT – Front
By bringing the X10 to market, Bridgestone are making the highest levels of performance available to anyone from national champions to intermediates and beginners.
