Following the final round of the FIM SuperEnduro in France, Taddy Blazusiak has been crowned series champion for the 6th year running in association with Metzeler.
In fact, this is the 8th year in a row where a Metzeler backed rider, running on KTM machinery, has won the title after they also worked with David Knight in 2008 and Ivan Cervantes in 2009.
Blazusiak has been consistent throughout the entire season and in Cahors, France he finished the championship with 320 points, 42 ahead of his nearest rival. This year the Polish rider has been using the new softy compound rear 140/80-18 MCE 6 Days Extreme, which was developed in partnership between Blazusiak and Metzeler.
The latest variation of the MCE 6 Days Extreme has been designed for indoor use and the most extreme races, such as Hell’s Gate & Erzberg. The new compound formula results in better grip and ride performance on the harder terrain types often encountered on the toughest of enduros. At the same time, the carcass is stiff enough to avoid excessive slides under sudden, hard acceleration.
