There have been a number of new tyres released on the adventure bike market this year, but only one could win the recent wet weather test by the renowned Motorrad Test Centre in Germany recently – and that tyre was the new Battlax Adventure A40 from Bridgestone!
The test was carried out in Italy on a BMW R1200 GS Adventure, and the Bridgestone topped the results for wet weather braking performance, steering precision and edge grip.
That’s great news for the design team at Bridgestone, whose brief was to improve the wet weather performance of the new Battlax Adventure A40 when compared with it’s predecessor, the ever popular Battlewing. Unfortunately we didn’t get to test this at the official launch in Portugal, as the sun never stopped shining.
However, with the UK weather as unpredictable as ever, if you don’t want to get caught out in the wet – it looks like you need the new Battlax Adventure A40 from Bridgestone!
