Portsmouth based motocross racer Darren King kicked off his season with a clean-sweep of victories in the Banbury Club Vets class at Wroxton.
The track was in perfect conditions and Darren, who was racing on Bridgestone for the first time, certainly put his Battlecross X30 tyres to good use.
Riding his Suzuki RMZ-450, the 43 year old successfully held off some strong challenges from Billy Hazell, Paul Williams and John Barnes to take three victories and secure 1st place overall in the opening round of 2018.
Last year Darren came out on top in the Portsmouth Club Vets title race, and he has started the new season where he left off in 2017.

To ensure a more consistent performance over changing surfaces, the Battlecross X30 uses Bridgestone’s Castle Block Technology, which digs deep to find that all important bit of extra grip.
The rear X30 tyre also uses Cooling Fin Technology derived from run-flat car tyres to limit temperature build-up in the carcass and therefore better control sidewall deformation.
